The Touchdown Tour’s kickoff event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the parking lot of the nonprofit science and space learning center, Space Center Houston.
Retired astronaut Scott Kelly, who recently returned from a year in space, will return the NFL football that spent five months alongside him in the International Space Station to the Host Committee in a special 10:30 a.m. ceremony. While entry to the Touchdown Tour is free, the normal $6 charge for on-site parking at Space Center Houston will be in place.
