The CMAs Respond To Beyonce Backlash
The Country Music Awards are scrambling to save face after making headlines for reportedly scrubbing their social media accounts and website of Beyonce’s CMA existence.
The CMAs responded to the Internet chatter in an exclusive statement to E News!,
“CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyoncé’s performance on the CMA Awards. In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a 5-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA’s Facebook page. The promo was unapproved and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyoncé’s performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.”
In case you missed it, haters went on tweeting spree after it was announced Mrs. Carter would be performing her song ‘Daddy Lessons’ on the annual broadcast, which fans believe led to the CMAs removing any mention of Bey.
The Dixie Chicks, who performed alongside Bey, defend her and shut down the hate with one swift tweet.

In other Beyonce news, the Lemonade singer is expected to hit the campaign trail to support Hillary Clinton with hubby Jay Z this Friday.
According to CBS, The Carters will join Hillary at the rally at Cleveland State University to promote voting awareness.
