Be careful what you say on Twitter– you could get a “Twitter timeout.” According to Mashable,

The website began rolling out the feature earlier this month, but it’s only now causing a commotion on the website. Basically if you tweet out something someone deems offensive you could get a message from Twitter that says “We’ve temporarily limited some of your account features.” This means a user’s tweets will only be displayed to people who follow them for the next 12 hours. That means if someone includes the handle of a user (mentions them) that they don’t follow, that user won’t be notified. If that person is re-tweeted by someone else, the re-tweets will still not be shown to those who don’t follow the account. At this point Twitter simply says violating the Twitter Rules or inhibiting other people’s ability to express themselves freely will land you in time out.

Ok, 45.  You’ve officially been put on notice.  LOL
