Beyoncé is the soundtrack to your life. When you’re in the shower thinking you’re the lead singer of Destiny’s Child. When you’re in the midst of a breakup or need remind somebody what happens if they mess you over. Beyoncé pretty much can cover all arenas. Let that now also include ice skating rinks.

French skater Maé Bérénice Méité managed to channel her inner Queen Bey on Saturday night, combining “Halo” and “Run The World (Girls)” into one ready mashup. The Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang mark the first time figure skaters can set their routines to music with lyrics. Méité figured why not go with the Queen?

Even her competition had to agree.

Why did she go with Beyoncé? “[Her music] is crazy, wild and fun,” Méité told Cosmopolitan. “You can just dance to it, and that’s how I am. I wanted to do something that was very me, something fun, something I would enjoy!”
