Snapchat is under fire (again) for having an advertisement “making light of domestic violence” where users could answer the question of would they “rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown.”

Per the BBC, a representative for Snap said,  “The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines. We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened.” The ad was only available for US users of the social media platform.

Snap has been in trouble throughout 2018 after users flat out said they weren’t here for the new design. Kylie Jenner singlehandedly may have caused stock prices to drop earlier this year when she voiced her displeasure about the new interface.
