We’ve all heard of chicken and waffles. But lobster and waffles? Well, Red Lobster has just come to help you out there.
The seafood chain is taking classic Southern cuisine and giving it a new under the sea style twist during Lonbsterfest. Instead of the now classic fried chicken with a waffle, patrons can get — fried lobster instead.
That’s not all! The waffle isn’t just any waffle but rather a waffle made up of their famous Cheddar Bay biscuit mix, topped with fried lobster tails and finished with a drizzle of sweet and savory maple syrup.
The Lobster and Waffles dish is supposed to make its debut nationwide on March 26 and cost around $20. A Red Lobster spokesperson said that the new item will be available for a limited time at all locations.
