Bill Cosby continues to be expelled from various groups and organizations in the wake of his guilty verdict for sexual assault last week. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the group that runs the Oscars, have expelled Cosby and film director Roman Polanski from its membership, citing the policy they enacted following the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

“The Board continues to encourage ethical standards that require members to uphold the Academy’s values of respect for human dignity,” the Academy said in a statement announcing their expulsion.

Cosby was expelled from the Television Academy earlier this week.
