McDonald’s Restaurants of Greater Cincinnati will be the lead sponsor of this year’s Midwest Black Family Reunion at Sawyer Point.
More than 100,000 people are expected to take part in the 22nd annual event Aug. 20-22.
The McDonald’s sponsorship was announced at a news conference Tuesday.
McDonald’s Restaurants of Greater Cincinnati includes 115 mainly franchised owned restaurants in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.

McDonald’s is making a financial investment in the reunion, but would not disclose the amount.
Organizers say the reunion offers people free attendance and a number of events and activities including two concerts, themed pavilions, exhibit booths and an opening parade.
