The search is on for a robber who shot three people at a Church’s Chicken on the northwest side Wednesday morning. The crime was caught on surveillance video.
It happened at the Church’s Chicken located on Kuykendahl near FM 1960. Investigators say a man walked up to the counter around 10:30pm, pulled a weapon and demanded cash from an employee. It’s unclear what happened between them, but the employee was shot in the chest and leg.
The shooter then ran outside and shot two more men, who were just outside the restaurant in a vehicle.
“As he was departing the store, he saw the two males in the vehicle and fired a few shots inside. Both males were struck,” said C.A. Leitner with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “One was struck in the hand and one was struck in the arm.”
All three shooting victims were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where they are all listed in stable condition.
