Since the controversial immigration bill passed in Arizona, several Houston groups are coming together to form an immigration protest across the United States.
A march is already scheduled for May 1st and Houston will join 300 other cities in nationwide participation.
The immigration law, which will allow police to check the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being in the country illegally, has prompted a huge uproar in Arizona, where critics argue it gives authorities a license to racially profile and discriminate them.
