A group of students at Glenda Dawson High School gave a thrilling performance to pay tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for the one-year anniversary of his death.

Dawson High School, located in the 2000 block of Cullen, is new to the Pearland School District. The school celebrated their 1st graduating class of 2010 with a “Pop Show” put on by the theater department.

Pop Show is held annually and presented by the school’s Ovation Theater, directed by Tim Unroe and Aaron Brown, and this year’s theme was a tribute to what many consider the greatest performer of all time.

A proud parent recorded some energetic moments of the tribute and sent to 11 News for sharing.

It is safe to say that Houston’s got talent!
