“The Legacy Awards” , a 5 star event benefitting Fresh Spirit Wellness for Women, held at the illustrious Omni hotel in the prestigious galleria/uptown area. The gala includes a VIP reception, silent auction, a rousing gospel concert featuring gospel four-time Grammy Award winning singer Karen Clark-Sheard. This event celebrates survivors who have victoriously overcome domestic or sexual abuse, and the individuals and corporations who work tirelessly to empower women and enhance awareness to this crisis.
Fresh Spirit Wellness for Women (FSWW) is a premier faith-based organization founded in 1997. FSWW is an outpaitent-care program that assists women from all walks of life, who have been verbally, emotionally, physically or sexually (VEPS) abused and in search of support. FSWW provides clients with professional counseling and case management which assists them with job placement, legal and medical needs, financial and housing assistance.
