Let Love Rule in Houston

Ledisi is starting her North American Tour titled, “Let Love Rule”, on Friday, March 9th 2018 on the east coast in New York City.  She will be sharing the stage with special guests, Melanie Fiona and Tweet all along this musical trek across the continental U.S.  The tour finishes on June 17th west of Houston, in San Antonio, but makes a stop here at the House of Blues, right before concluding.  Since the release of her latest hit single, “High”, in May 2017, she has been well received by her core base of fans and new listeners, even though her last studio album, “The Truth” was released in 2014.  Many Tweet fans are extremely pleased to be able to witness her return to the stage with such a strong lineup of soulful singers as well.  Her neo-soul hip hop-folk sound has been missed and she felt as though she may have compromised herself on her last musical project.  So, she says that it took the right mix of production, finding the right label, musical inspiration, and divine timing for her to make a return to music and performing.  The third heavy-hitting songstress, Melanie Fiona released new music in September of last year, titled “Remember U”.  It is the first single off of her forthcoming third album, “Next Train”.  She says,  “I’m really excited for this project,” and “I’m so thankful for the fans that have been anticipating my music, staying with me through my personal journey as a mother.”, in an interview with [Rap-Up].  Whatever stars aligned to get these three on stage together, we are all thankful and ready to reap the musical benefit when they hit Houston.  “Let Love Rule” the tour at The House of Blues on Friday June 15th,  and Saturday June 16th, 2018!
