According to a study by financial technology firm, SmartAsset , Katy is on the top of the list as the best place to retire in Texas. The study shows that an abundance of medical doctors, and recreation activities are the factors that put it on top. The ranking factors included the overall quality of life: sales taxes and income, and the opportunity for social life and recreation.
