Is a new “Friday” movie on the way? This week, newly engaged Mike Epps teased fans on social media, showing what appears to be the set of a new Friday movie.

The original “Friday” movie was released in 1995. The comedy was directed by F. Gary Gray in his directorial debut and starred Ice Cube, who co-wrote the film with DJ Pooh and Chris Tucker in his first starring role. The film’s success spawned two sequels: “Next Friday” (2000) and “Friday After Next” (2002).

The upcoming Friday, would be a fourth installment. It has reportedly been in the works for several years and received the green light as of April 2017, according to John Witherspoon, who plays Cube’s father in all three films.

This week, Epps shared a photo of him, Ice Cube, and John Witherspoon on set in a kitchen setting with a camera and a crew member. [Epps played Ice Cube’s cousin in the second and third installment].

Epps also posted a video telling fans,

Im sitting here with big bro. We working, we working ya dig?

There is no confirmation on the movie but this seems like confirmation enough for fans.
