When CBS newsman Harold Dow died suddenly on Saturday, his friends, colleagues and fans were stunned, perplexed over what could have killed the veteran reporter. Dow, a correspondent and investigative reporter for the network’s news magazine “48 Hours,” apparently suffered a fatal asthma attack.
