  When CBS newsman Harold Dow died suddenly on Saturday, his friends, colleagues and fans were stunned, perplexed over what could have killed the veteran reporter. Dow, a correspondent and investigative reporter for the network’s news magazine “48 Hours,” apparently suffered a fatal asthma attack. Harold Dow, the veteran CBS News correspondent died Saturday. He was 62.  His career at CBS spanned almost 40 years.  He was a five-time Emmy winner and a correspondent for 48 Hours since the program’s inception.  Read more:
