(HOUSTON) — The Houston Fire Department is battling a four-alarm building fire in the Montrose area. The scene is on West Dallas at Montrose near downtown. It started around 12:30pm. The building appears to be an apartment complex under construction. We’re working to confirm details.
The popular nightspot has been atop the 10-story building at Montrose and Hawthorne since May 1999 and has regularly drawn jazz greats, R&B upstarts and local celebs.
