Texas Southern University, the state’s largest historically black university has had it’s accreditation restored for the next ten years by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This comes as some positive news for TSU as not having accreditation decreased the enrollment and financial aid assistance from the United States Department of Education.
