A Chicago high school student is facing charges after spiking a container of marinara sauce with some very spicy hot sauce, sending three people to the hospital according to the Chicago Tribune.

The unidentified 17-year-old student is being charged with five counts of misdemeanor battery.

Three cafeteria workers were treated by the school’s nurse before being treated at a local hospital for  wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and skin rashes.

Two students also became sick from the hot sauce but did not need medical attention.

The student used a brand of hot sauce called “Da Bomb” which is reportedly one of the hottest hot sauces on the market.

He is being charged as a juvenile.
