Jussie Smollett doesn’t only play an outspoken character on Empire, the Lyon’s actor is socially conscious in real life and using his social media platform to take down meat heads like Donald Trump.

With White media outlets perpetuating the Baltimore riots, Donald Trump saw it fit to tweet, “Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!”

Snollett took Trump to task with this response:

NeNe Leakes stopped by Live With Kelly And Michael to chat about the RHOA reunion and the “very rich” reality star made it clear, she’ll come back for another season as long as some cast members are given the good ole Prada boot.

“I’m a threat and they are mad,” she said. “Everyone wants to knock the queen off her throne. And when it came down to her return next season, NeNe said under one condition: “Well the show is called the Housewives isn’t it? So you need to be married to be on the show,” she said.

Well she does have a point.

Viola Davis To Play Harriet Tubman In HBO Film

Viola Davis has been tapped to play Harriet Tubman in the HBO biopic about Harriet Tubman, penned by John Adams and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV, reports The HollywoodReporter.

The film is based on Kate Clifford Larson’s book Bound for the Promise Land and will chronicle Harriet Tubman’s involvement in the Underground Railroad.

We’re really excited about HBO’s latest round of projects, especially including their upcoming film “Bessie” starring Queen Latifah.
