Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. is just one of a few guests to be featured as part of a collaboration between the The People’s Law Study Group (PLSG) and the Shrine of the Black Madonna during Black History Month. Chairman Fred Hampton Jr., author of “A Biography of Chairman Fred Hampton” will be a guest on Sunday Morning Live to talk about his father, slain leader of the International Revolutionary Civil Rights Black Panther Party, Fred Hampton Sr.
His lecture will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 6 pm at the Shrine Culture and Event Center at 5309 Martin Luther King Blvd. It is preceded by an Open Forum Solution Session from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Warren Houston, creator and organizer of the PLSG will be on hand to discuss the other events offered this February. The PLSG is an organization committed to providing classes, lectures, seminars and workshops on law and politics that illuminate the success and the plight of African-Americans.
