A major disaster has struck the state of Louisiana.
All lanes eastbound & westbound of I-10 are closed at the Louisiana and Texas state line due to flooding.
Louisiana Governor’s Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness has advised everyone to take an alternate route due to lane closures.
Heavy rain has caused flooding in Louisiana over the past few days and more rain is predicted to fall later this week. About 6,143 homes in Louisiana have been damaged and The Louisiana National Guard has reported over 4,255 rescues.
