According to NewsWeek, Diddy along with Capital Preparatory Schools announced that they are opening a new charter school in Harlem in the fall of 2016.
The Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter school will be located at 1 East 104th Street and the school will be overseen by Capital Prep’s founder Dr. Steve Perry and run by principal Danita Jones.
The school is currently accepting applications for sixth and seventh grade students. The plan is to expand a grade each year up until 12th grade.
