Hot weather may make many people upset and feel tired. Everyone was looking for ways to make the heat turn into cool. So, not the least of their choosing to find a place that has a refrigeration or air conditioning. However, as we know, there is air circulation of cooling or air conditioning is not necessarily healthy. In fact, if too often in an air-conditioned places can make the skin dry.

How To Recognize Heat Stroke & What To Do Next

So, what can be done to combat the heat without cooling? In addition to lowering the electric bill, do not use air conditioning continuously. Turn on the air conditioner for short times.  This can also save energy.

Here are 4 tips that you can use:

1. Close window- Opening a window during the day can actually make the house hotter atmosphere. This occurs because of the heat entering through windows. So, better, close the window in the daytime and open windows at night when the cold air. The cold night air can cool the room naturally.

2. Eating cold food- On hot days, cold foods or contain water will lower your body temperature. Israeli salad bowl (chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumber, onion, olive oil, lemon and salt and pepper) is one good choice. For snacks, try eating ice cream or sipping syrup.

3. Swim or bathe in cold water- This activity is guaranteed to be soothing to you. But, there is again a faster solution, ie, take an ice cube and rub it on the inside of your wrist. This is because the blood vessels very close to the skin in the area. You will feel the coolness in an instant.

4. Turn off the Lights-Incandescent light bulbs not only produce much light, but a lot of heat energy. Light energy to produce an average of 75% of heat energy. Consider replacing your light bulbs with the type of energy-efficient light bulbs. In addition to cooling the room, turn off unnecessary lights can save energy and money.
