Known for its “ripped from the headlines” shows, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, is doing an episode inspired by the shooting of Trayvon Martin and the trial of George Zimmerman. Cybill Shepard plays a vigilante-like woman who kills a black teenager named Mehcad. Look for this episode sometime in the fall.
