Red Distribution launched its Snapshot CD series of ‘collectible’ titles this past August. Each competitively priced album features ten tracks (a couple of hits and rare songs) and four collectible snap shot photos. The series has issued sets on pop group The Osmonds, singer/songwriter Leon Russell, Texas Swing band Asleep at the Wheel, country star Charlie Daniels, jazz man Bob James and New Age rockers Mannheim Steamroller.

James Fortune & FIYA now join this exclusive club as RED and World Wide Music release the first gospel title in the “Snapshot” series. The set features the group’s #1 hits “I Trust You” and “I Believe.” It also boasts one of its Top Ten hit “I Wouldn’t Know You” but the rest of the material is rare cuts such as “Over & Over Again,” a festive track that was never released on a James Fortune & FIYA album. It showcases Fortune doing his passionate signature emcee stance as Earnest Pugh, Shawn McLemore and M.D. Stokes sing verses of the urban flavored praise and worship jam.

Many people don’t realize that Fortune penned Earnest Pugh’s #1 hit “I Need Your Glory.” However, prior to Pugh’s rendition, the song was recorded by both Zacardi Cortez and William Murphy for Fortune CDs. William Murphy’s eight-minute, high-octane praise and worship rendition is included here and segues into the chords of his own gold-selling “Praise Is What I do” song.
