(HOUSTON) — A woman told police a man tried to rape her after the two were walking together at Houston Community College.
She said she was in a stairwell with 21-year-old Mohammed Nadir at HCC Central on May 1. The two were looking for an exit.

At one point, she was walking ahead of him, and he asked her to turn around. That’s when, according to court documents, he forced his mouth onto hers and tried to rape her.
Court documents state that after several frightening minutes, the woman yelled “Mohammad, I said no!” Nadir then reportedly pulled up his pants, apologized and left the building.
Nadir told police the two had sex in the stairwell, but it was consensual. That statement reportedly came after he told police that nothing happened.
Nadir is charged with attempted sexual assault.
