(HOUSTON) – A Houston man was arrested, accused of helping his young daughter fight another girl.
Darren Keith Patrick is charged with injury to a child.
According to court documents, a 13-year-old girl said she was walking home from Cullen Middle School on Thursday when Patrick and his daughter, a classmate, approached her.

Houston ISD police said Patrick held the teenager against a chain link fence while his daughter hit and kicked her.

According to court documents, the victim said she tried to defend herself, but Patrick held on to her and refused to let her go.
Police said they interviewed witnesses who said they saw Patrick hold the girl down, while his daughter hit her. According to court documents, there is also surveillance video that shows Patrick and his daughter chasing the teenager.
Patrick was arrested by Houston ISD police and is being held without bond.
