Fellas, I have a question for you.  How often do you face your face?  Some would say wash your face twice a day, in the morning and at night.  I personally wash my face once a day, either in the morning or at night.

I was reading in Men’s Health that you should wash your face twice a day, but it depends on what kind of products you use.  Some face washes and scrubs aren’t meant to be used everyday.

The article said  find yourself a gentle wash for everyday use, and an exfoliating scrub to use two or three times a week.  Here are some recommendations for your skin type that you can use from Men’s Health.

Oily skin

Try Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser to help remove excess oil and dirt without overdrying. Beware, wash too often and your face will go into crisis mode and produce excess oil to combat the dryness. If you still have that midday oil shine, grab a pack of Boscia’s Green Tea Blotting Linens to give your face that clean matte look.

Combination Skin

Grab some of Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Energizing Face Wash for a fresh look and feel. Formulated with caffeine and vitamin E to wake you up and help protect against the daily stresses of your life.

Sensitive Skin

Pick up some of Mario Badescu’s Enzyme Cleansing Gel. It’s gentle enough for daily use, but strong enough to get rid of the day’s grime. It’ll leave your skin clean and refreshed without all the abrasive chemicals. Remember to moisturize after to help maintain a healthy, smooth look.

As for the scrub, keep away from any coarse additives. Exfoliating doesn’t mean scrubbing your face with iron wool. And although going all-natural and using shredded walnuts might seem like a good idea, it’s not. The sharp edges could leave tiny cuts on your face. Instead, pick up a scrub with smooth spheres. Try Clearasil’s Daily Clear Daily Facial Scrub with exfoliating beads, and keep the sand, seeds, and nuts off your face.

Try it out and see what works for you.  I know I am.
