Singer and actress Brandy Norwood recently moved to New York because she is appearing on Broadway in Chicago, The Musical. While incognito, she thought it wold be fun to belt out a song on a crowded subway. She sang her heart out to the tune of “Home” from “The Wiz”. To her surprise, no one payed her any mind! Brandy asked, “Ya’ll heard that? Ya’ll thought that was cool?” She got no response so she asked again, “Nobody heard me singing? Nobody cares? Ok.” Uh, no. Having just come back from a vacation in New York, I can attest that New Yorkers aren’t fazed by much, let alone a subway singer. However, one man did have some words of encouragement for the undercover superstar. He told her, “You got talent man, go for it! But we’ve seen this a million times. You gotta do something different!”
