Wow, what a way to kick off the first weekend of December. The 2015 Toyota SWAC Football Championship game at NRG Stadium was quite exciting, not to mention the Battle-of-the-Bands half-time show. The Alcorn State University Braves took on the Grambling State University Tigers and were victorious with a final score of ASU 49 – GSU 21. All of the Alumni from both HBCUs, filled the city with plenty of football frenzy energy, which all started with a Coors Light Tailgate Party and performance by Juicy J. The weather was so beautiful that many tailgaters didn’t leave the parking lot, which amplified the festive atmosphere for an amazing 2015 Toyota SWAC Football Championship at NRG Stadium.
