William Balfour, the man convicted of killing Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew in 2008, is now claiming his innocence.
He told ABC 7’s I Team,
“I didn’t have nothing to do with her family being killed. Period. I didn’t have nothing to do with the case and don’t know who had anything to do with the case. It’s up to them to make sense out of it. Because if you make a statement, and the statement don’t add up to the way the murders happened, then it’s a problem. That’s reasonable doubt.”
Meanwhile, Chicago police are standing behind the “overwhelming” evidence against Balfour.
