Media reports yesterday (January 3rd) said that Trump is expected to attend the College Football Playoff National Championship game next Monday night (January 8th) in Atlanta. The University of Georgia and the University of Alabama will be playing for the title.
Trump’s visit would come in the wake of his attacks that began last fall on the National Anthem kneeling protests by some NFL players against racial inequality and police brutality, and on the league and teams for allowing it. I sure hope one of those young boys, on either team, decide to take a knee.
The College Football Playoff National Championship game airs Monday on ESPN.
