50 Cent has admitted that despite recent reports, he didn’t actually make a fortune from bitcoin. According to The Blast,
The rapper said in documents regarding his 2015 bankruptcy filing,
“I have] never owned and [do] not now own, a bitcoin account or any bitcoins.”
Last month, the rapper said that because he accepted the cryptocurrency as payment for his 2014 album, Animal Ambition, he allegedly received 700 bitcoins in sales, which now would have been worth more than $7 million.
