Call it the end of an era. For years, Megabus served as a cheap and easy option to move around from city to city, but the company announced recently that they ceased Texas operations as part of a set of new nationwide route changes that also included offloading other routes to competing operators.

Coach USA, Megabus’ owner, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, blaming its financial struggles on a decline in ridership during the pandemic.
