“Girlfriends” starlet Jill Marie Jones lands a starring role in TBS’s “Gillian in Georgia” which is included in the network’s micro-series “My Manny.” Darrin Henson (“Stomp the Yard”), Shondrella Avery (“Napoleon Dynamite”) and James Mathis II are all set to costar in the series.
Jones will star as Gillian, a hip, single New Yorker who visits her family in a small town in Georgia.
The series will premiere on April 28 at 8pm during commercial segments following “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.” Two new episodes will air on Wednesdays for five consecutive weeks within commercial time.
