Houston – Forward Jordan Hill, from the Houston Rockets, and center DeAndre Jordan, from the L.A. Clippers, will be the celebrity coaches in Wednesday night’s benefit game between the seniors from Bellaire High School and Yates High School.

Proceeds from the game will be used to assist the family of Bellaire forward Tobi Oyedeji who died Sunday from injuries suffered in a car accident. He was one of the top basketball players in the city and was headed to Texas A&M where he was going to play for the Aggies.

“DeAndre Jordan will coach Bellaire and Jordan Hill will coach the Yates team,” said Daryl Wade, Houston Independent School District athletics director, in an interview with FOX 26 Sports.

Yates coach Greg Wise and Bellaire coach Bruce Glover cannot participate in the game because it would be a violation of University Interscholastic League rules. The UIL is the governing body of high school athletics in Texas.
