Tamika Malory has called on Black artists to stop working with JW Lucas, a white music producer who defended the cops who killed Breonna Taylor and suggested he was more capable of leading Black Lives Matter.

Williams and several other noted celebrities were released after they protested at the house of Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron. They're facing felony trespass charges.

Breonna Taylor's family is once again speaking out about new details regarding the murder of the 26-year old EMT after a new report reveals that she was actually still alive after being shot in her home. On Monday (Jul 6), Breonna Taylor’s family, who is currently in a lawsuit against police and the city of Louisville, revealed that Taylor was actually still alive after being shot more than 8 times while sleeping in her bed and only succumbed to her injuries after being denied medical attention by the detectives.

On her website, Beyonce' posted a letter she wrote to the Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron asking for the three officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), Johnathan Mattingly, Myles Cosgrove, and Brett Hankison, to be criminally charged with killing Breonna Taylor.

The Louisville Metro Council has officially voted to ban the use of “no-knock” search warrants in Jefferson County.

City officials in Louisville have unanimously passed Breonna’s Law that severely limits and monitors no-knock warrants in the city. According to local news station, WAVE3, the new law includes a rule about body cameras that states all officers must be wearing them and must activate them at least five minutes before any warrant is executed, noting that the videos from all warrants executed will be held for at least five years.
