As if things couldn’t get any worse for troubled NFL star, Adrian Petersen. The Minnesota Viking’s running back has admitted to smoking “a little weed” before a mandatory drug test and is in danger of having his bond revoked. He is currently out on a $15,000 bond for charges of felony child abuse. Though Petersen is still on the roster and receiving a full salary, he is banded from all team activity until these matters are resolved.
Not only can he be re-arrested if his bond is revoked, but if convicted on the child abuse charge, he could face 6 months to 2 years in prison and be subject to the NFL’s domestic violence policy, which could suspend him for an addition 6 weeks. Click here to read more.
