President Barack Obama will appear on “60 Minutes” this Sunday to discuss the “shellacking” of Democrats in the midterm elections.
Speaking to CBS’ Steve Kroft, Obama says his failure to promote his administration’s accomplishments may have led to the outcome on Tuesday – with Republicans taking over the House and gaining six seats in the Senate.
“I think that’s a fair argument. I think that, over the course of two years we were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that, we stopped paying attention to the fact that leadership isn’t just legislation,” Obama told Kroft.
