In Oxford, North Carolina in 1970, a Vietnam veteran by the name of Henry Marrow, also known as Dickie, was murdered in a hate crime by Roger Oakley, Robert Teel and Larry Teel. The events following his murder would spark an outrage that reached the entire black community all over the country.
