Malcolm X’s youngest daughter, Malikah Shabazz, has been sentenced to five years probation after being found guilty of identity theft.
The 46 year old stole the identity of an elderly family friend and made over $55,000 in purchases in the woman’s name.
The woman was the widow of on of her father’s former bodyguards.
Shabazz avoided jail time when she pleaded guilty to all charges. And as part of her sentence, she has to pay back the full amount of the stolen funds.
