I found a story on NewsOne.com that seemed to to add light to my day so I’ll share.  Fridays somehow and someway always seem to be a great day to receive news.  This Friday is no different for three women from African and Arab countries.  Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Ghowee and Tawakul Karman were awarded the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize for their roles as activists.

These women, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf — Africa’s first elected female president — her compatriot, peace activist Leymah Gbowee and Tawakul Karman of Yemen, a pro-democracy campaigner have all helped spread the message of non-violence throughout the world.
