A Houston man receives one of the longest punishments involving child pornography ever in the U.S. Attorney’s Southern District.

Edward Gladney, 28, had been making and selling child pornography since he was 17. He may not have stopped if it had not been for an anonymous tip into Houston Crime Stoppers. The investigtion found several young male victims, hundreds of videos and thousands of photos, some dating back to 2002. Gladney sold those images online.

In handing down his sentence, U.S. District Judge Vanessa Gilmore told Gladney she did not believe he understood the tremendous damage he had done or that the thousands of images he made and sold will remain on  the internet forever.

Now, Gladney will spend 60 years in federal prison.
