J.D. Salinger, author of “The Catcher in the Rye” has died at 91, according to his literary agent.
The reclusive novelist died of natural causes at his home in New Hampshire.
The Catcher In The Rye is a tale of teenage angst, first published in 1951 and is seen as one of the most influential American novels of the modern era.
