On family business in Abbeville La and ran into a place of little Cajun heaven its called Shucks!! I had the raw oyster on the half shell, fried alligator and something they called sassy shrimp. You may think what made the oysters so good I can tell you it was their own Shucks horse-radish and you know Louisiana is the place for good gater it was fried to perfection season just right spicy but not too spicy fried in a special batter that make the gater taste pop ,it was more alligator then batter. This dish called the sassy shrimp was so good it was saute in a butter sauce with chop green onion and the taste just melts in your mouth it was like eating popcorn you know how good the taste is going to be before you put it in your mouth all because of the smell. To finish it off my wife and I order the grill seafood platter with everything you can think of seafood. I am so glad that our family business was not finish that day because that means we have to come back to Abbeville and the first place I am going is to The World Famous Shucks.
