Simon Cowell was blindsided this week with the news that he is expecting his first child. The former American Idol judge who has said in the past that he does NOT want children of his own -impregnated his good friend’s wife, Lauren Silverman. Sources say Simon was under the influence that their relationship was a casual friends with benefits situation and assumed Silverman was using birth control.
36-year-old Silverman was recently spotted on a Caribbean cruise with her her soon to be ex real estate mogul husband along with Cowell and his ex fiance. Andrew Silverman, 37, filed for divorce on July 15.
