A $217 million plan to save the Astrodome and convert it into an events center is on the agenda for Tuesday’s Harris County Commissioners meeting.
If the commissioners approve it, the plan will be on the November ballot for Harris County voters to have the final say.
County Judge Ed Emmett says that plan, through the Harris County Convention and Sports Corporation, is a good one.
