Transgender blogger and media personality B. Scott appeared on MSNBC to talk about his lawsuit against BET and why he filed it. In June the blogger was hired by BET as a red carpet correspondent for the BET Awards but was dropped after being asked to change from his female attire to men’s.
In the interview the blogger compares himself to Michael Jackson and other artists such as Prince. Check out a quote from the interview and watch the full video below.
“It’s really sad that people have to go through something like this in 2013 when we’ve seen all different types of personalities. I’m not the first of my kind. There has been Michael Jackson, Prince, Grace Jones and the list goes on. So this is really shocking to me.”
