Vice President Bob Montgomery says the new terminal will give Hobby a new feel.

“it’s going to be open. it’s going to be airy. it’s going to be a whole new front door into Hobby airport.”

Once complete service to the Caribbean, Mexico and northern portions of South America will begin.

All locations will be close enough for Southwest to continue flying the Boeing 737, the only plane the airline flies.
